Is it possible to create schedules for lights (on, off) based on time or sunrise and sunset for example.
Hello!Yes it will be possible to schedule based on time and sunrise/sunset. The schedules run locally on the Animus Heart so that your events are executed even when you don't have Internet. We are also thinking about syncing the scheduler to google calendar so that you can see the events there as well. Is the google calendar syncing a feature you would like?
Thank you for he quick response, sounds great.The Google sync is probably something I personally wouldn't use.Can't see in what case I would benefit from that if I can get the scheduling info from the Animus app.But then again you can probably think of scenarious where it would be good to have it there.

Will it also be available to set lamps to fade in and out and set color according to time and other states?I imagine a lamp that turns on via a movement sensor and by the day it glows normal white but after by the night glows red.
Hi Martiaan,The scheduler will initially have basic functions where you can set on/off devices and hApps based on time (date, sunrise/sunset). To get the function where lights turn on on movement is achieved by hApps. So to get the desired function you can create a hApp that will turn on the lights on movement and then set color based on time of the day (or if you have a ambient light sensor it can check the brightness outside). This is something the community can develop and share it in hApp World
Will the scheduler have the ability to set recurring schedules, maybe cron or daily/hourly/every x minutes jobs?What's the minimum resolution for the scheduler?
The scheduler uses iCal standard, it can be accessed through the UI in the form of a calendar or through the API where hApps can schedule events for themselves. In iCal you can set recurrence rule with a frequency of every second and currently this is the highest frequency.
